Top 5 Highest Paying Survey Sites of 2020

Survey companies come and go as the best available. Whenever I review sites, I always look at the history of the sites, because some go from being great to being bad, and others rebrand and become good survey sites. With the changes in some of the companies, I wanted to create a list of the highest paying survey sites for 2018.

This list is a good starting point if you are looking for new sites to join, or just getting started with taking surveys online. If you would like more content and my free guide on how to take surveys, you can get it here.

My Top 5 Highest Paying Survey Sites

These sites below are in no particular order of who pays the highest. Although some do vary, overall they all pay above the industry standard. Make sure to read all the way through. At the bottom I share a couple of my favorite sites that aren't technically “Survey” sites, but are some of the best ways to make money online.

Prize Rebel

PrizeRebel LogoPrize Rebel offers a variety of ways to earn money from surveys and has some of the highest payouts available. I received my first payout from Prize Rebel way back in December 2014 and even now years later they continue to offer high survey payouts:

PrizeRebel Earnings

One of the great parts about Prize Rebel is that in addition to offering high paying surveys they also offer numerous other methods to earn points as well. Prize Rebel also offers exceptional flexibility with what to do with the points that you earn. If you want to get paid out via PayPal that's great, you can cash out for a little as 500 points to receive $5. If you would prefer an Amazon gift card, you can cash out for 200 points and get a $2 gift card. If you like flying Southwest, you can get a gift card from them 2500 points valued at $25. There is tremendous flexibility in how you redeem your rewards.

Another great part about Prize Rebel is that they reward your loyalty by providing you bonus points and prize discounts after you've earned more points with them:

I've been in the Diamond tier for several years now. Feel free to read my full Prize Rebel review, but I can confidently say you can just skip straight to signing up for Prize Rebel instead.

PineCone Research

pinecone-research-big-logoPineCone research is a straightforward survey site, except for the fact that you need to be invited to join, and not everyone gets accepted. This is disappointing, but you can understand why when you realize that they pay $3 per every survey.

That is pretty impressive. I do have a link for you to try and apply for the site. Make sure you use the link that matches your demographic

If you're 18 – 24 year old male use this link: Join PineCone Research

Here is the 18-34 year old UK link: Join PineCone Research

Ipsos i-Say

ipsos-isay-review-300x149Ipsos i-Say is fortunately a site that everyone can sign up for and take surveys as they please. There are tons of surveys to take, and they offer some of the highest paying ones in the industry.

i-Say also has a loyalty program, so that makes them an even better survey taking site.

I've written an in-depth review on Ipsos i-Say that you can read here

If you'd like to join them, here's a link:

Opinion Outpost

Opinion Outpost LogoOpinion is not only one of the highest paying surveys sites this year, they are also the fastest paying. Their $10 minimum cash out is awesome, since it's lower than most, but they pay you via PayPal instantly.

I haven't come across any other site that pays instantly.

You can see my full in-depth review here, it includes some tips for best practice with Opinion Outpost: My Opinion Outpost Review

iPoll

iPoll logoiPoll is another straight forward survey site. Simply sign up and start taking surveys right now. You also get $5 just for signing up.

iPoll also has a mobile app, and it is one of the best ones for survey companies. You can take surveys on the go, or do little tasks while you are out and about.

You can get that $5 bonus for signing up here:

If you have read my other articles, reviews or looked at the sidebar, you have seen that I really like Swagbucks and CashCrate. I would include them in this, but since I make the most money with them through offers, they technically aren't the highest paying “survey” sites. They are my favorite sites for making money though. If you'd like to learn more about them, check out my in-depth reviews for them:

  1. Hi,
When I hit the link to apply to pinecone research it took me to VIP Voice. So, I signed up for it and took 5 surveys and then discovered it doesn’t pay… :-( So I hit the UK link as well and it takes to same place. Just thought you should know. Did I do something wrong, other than signing up for VIP? lol Thanks for your blog and reviews, though, they are typically spot on!

    1. Hey Barbara,

I apologize for the mix up with Pinecone Research. The link was directed towards Pinecone Research sign up, but was redirecting it to VIP Voice, which was strange. But it should be fixed now, but you here is a link to the invite here: Join Pinecone Research.

Thanks for reading the reviews! I’m glad they are helpful.

  3. Hi Chris,

Thanks very much for all the great information you share here with your readers. Unfortunately, none of the bigcattracks.com links that I find on your post are working – the tab opens but the page is blank despite reloading several times. Does this mean that this program is not offered to my country India? I hope you would clarify this. Thanks.

  4. Hello, Chris! I just signed up to mindswarms and others surveys sites that were recommended by you, but I live in France, and although I can sign up to these websites, I feel like my geographic situation is a bad point for me to be able to be eligible to some surveys.

Can I lie and pretend to be in the US to get more opportunies?
I am on iPoll and CashCrate, but I have like zero surveys to apply to!! Help!!

    Thanks in advance.

    1. Hey Margaux,

These survey companies track your IP address so they can tell which country you actually reside in. So I wouldn’t recommend lying.

      Thanks,

      Chris

  7. It appears that Opinion Outpoint does not add up your points when taking surveys. There probably is a bug in the software. In conclusion, the amount of time spent and the repetition taking survey is better served doing something else. My two cents…

  15. Agree with Sam Spader on his post here. Opinion post still does not credit you properly. Sometimes after answering many questions says you are not eligible (again no credits or prize draw entry). Support staff gives robotic answers when contacted.
