Top 20 Survey Sites that Pay Cash

When it comes to taking surveys for money, there is one question that everyone wants to know: What are the legit survey sites that pay cash and which ones are scams?

That question is exactly the reason I have decided to put together this list. If you are trying to make money with survey sites, you will want to know the best survey sites that actually pay you.

This list below is in the order that I recommend them in. I did this so you would know which survey sites to begin with, and which ones to add to your arsenal as you grow you survey taking site network. Some of the surveys I have extremely in-depth reviews for.

I recommend checking out the reviews because I also give you the best strategy to use to make the most money for your time on that particular site. It is very helpful information.

While 20 is a large list, it is not exclusive. If you have any sites you think should be on here, or would like me to check out to see if it is a legitimate survey site that pays, then let me know in the comments.

My Top 20 Survey Sites that Pay Cash

1. Swagbucks

SwagbucksSwagbucks is one of my favorite online sites for making money. There are so many options to do so and their bonuses are some of the best online that I have to recommend it first. While cashing out with $5 Amazon cards is the best bang for your buck, they also payout with Paypal.

Paypal is my preferred way always to receive my payouts, since I can then use the money for whatever I like and it tends to be one of the fastest options available.

2. CashCrate

cash crate logoCashCrate is another one of my favorites. They offer a variety of ways to make money, but I preferred to take advantage of their offers section. This strategy paid out big.

Check out my CashCrate review, that includes a video of me showing you the best ways to use the site to make money: My CashCrate Review

3. Ipsos i-Say

ipsos-isay-review-300x149Ipsos i-Say made my top 3 because of the immense amount of surveys that they have available for you to take. The surveys all payout well, and I managed to finish almost all of them in less time the estimated (with still answering the questions honestly).

What I also like about i-Say is their loyalty program and that their highest payout of PayPal is the best deal. Since I use taking surveys as a long term strategy, this combination allows for me to make more money over the long run.

Here is my detailed Ipsos i-Say review with more strategies: My i-Say Review

4. Opinion Outpost

Opinion Outpost LogoOpinion Outpost is another site that is strictly taking surveys. They email you a couple surveys a day, but also have a dozen or so available at anytime through their dashboard.

My favorite part about Opinion Outpost was their quick payout. All you need is 100 points to get $10 via Paypal, and they pay you instantly. This is rare when it comes to online survey sites.

5. iPoll

iPoll logoiPoll is a great site for making cash with. They are mostly for surveys, but also offer some other great ways to make money, including one of the best mobile apps for survey companies.

The mobile app is fun, and allows you to make money doing things you'd already be doing, such as going to the movies, grocery shopping or running to the gas station.

Also, you get $5 for just signing up, that's hard to beat.

6. Paid Viewpoint

logo pvpPaid Viewpoint is a unique survey taking site in that it doesn't payout very well at the start. However, I still highly recommend it for a couple reason.

One, they have some of the most interesting surveys available and they are very short in duration. While you don't get invited to many in the start, they do pay decently for how much time they take.

Secondly, and what is slightly addicting about it (but will also make you more money), is that they have a meter that keeps track of your trait score. The more you take surveys, the more Paid Viewpoint learns about you. This is important because then they can specifically select you for your detailed demographic.

The higher your trait score, the more you get paid per survey taken.

So this is a survey site that you have to stick with to see good results, but once the results come in, they are completely worth it.

7. PineCone Research

pinecone-research-big-logoI have to be honest about my recommendation of PineCone Research. I have not tried the site. This is because it is one of the most exclusive survey taking sites online.

The reason it is so exclusive is because everyone wants to be apart of it. They pay out $3 per survey.

That is the biggest payout I have seen for surveys and you either have to be invited, or find a specific join link (don't worry, I have the join link for you).

So I recommend giving it a try to sign up, because if you get in, you'll be apart of one of the best online survey taking sites.

8. SurveySpot

surveySpot_logo2Survey Spot is run by the same company as Opinion Outpost, and it has the same legitimacy to offer. The reason I have Opinion Outpost higher is that I noticed slightly more surveys available through them. Not a lot to make a big difference though.

One thing about using both SurveySpot and Opinion Outpost is that sometimes they have the same surveys available on both sites, but you can only take it once. Fortunately, they will tell you you've already taken the survey right after you click on it, so you don't waste time.

9. FusionCash

fusioncashFusionCash is extremely similar to CashCrate. They are owned and operated by the same parent company. FusionCash is best used for their offer completions. If you'd like to learn the ins and outs of FusionCash, and how to best use it, read my in-depth review here: My FusionCash Review.

10. MindSwarms

MindSwarms LogoMindSwarms is a little different than most survey sites in that these are surveys taken via webcam. While that may be a little frightening to some, to record themselves talking, the payout will change your mind about that.

Each survey is only 7 questions and pays $50.

That is some of the highest payouts I've seen. According to their website, and user reviews, most people take less than 20 minutes to logon, record their video, then sign out. Not bad.

11. Legerweb

LegerWeb LogoLegerweb is a straight forward survey panel website. There are surveys available through the dashboard, and they are emailed to you. When your account reaches $20, you are able to cashout via check. There are also monthly prize draws of cash and electronics that you can possibly win.

12. Parent Speak

Parent Speak LogoParent Speak is a website dedicated to getting the opinions of parents. They have online discussion forums, surveys and focus groups. One of the best parts of Parent Speak is how quickly they cash out.

It will take a while to reach cash out with only the surveys, so look for focus groups. You get up to $150 for participating in one of those.

13. Epoll Surveys

epoll_logoEpoll is a survey company that offers surveys mostly related to watching TV. The surveys are either about your TV watching habits, or give you the opportunity to watch new shows and give them feedback on the shows.

The cash out minimum is $5, which is nice because it is easy to hit. You can get your cash via Paypal, which is always my favorite option.

14. YouGov

YouGov LogoYouGov is an international survey taking company. Along with surveys, they ask you to read articles and then comment on current events. The articles can be on anything from political to sports. It is one of the slower to reach payout minimums, since the surveys don't give many points.

However, they are a legitimate paying company, and it is a nice change to comment on current events to make money.

15. GlobalTestMarket

Global Test Market LogoGlobalTestMarket offers online surveys that are focused around developing new products and services. The surveys are usually 10-20 minutes long.

GlobalTestMarket is available in multiple countries, including the US, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Germany and Canada. They are always expanding their reach, so this may not be an exhaustive list.

You can receive your payout by check or Paypal, which is great.

16. Crowdology

Crowdology LogoCrowdology is purely a survey taking site. They try to vary the topics as much as possible, to keep things interesting. The surveys tend to be between 2-15 minutes. Each month they hold a prize drawing for an Amazon gift card.

The payout minimum is low and is through Paypal.

17. Directive Analytics Panel

directive-analytics-logoDirective Analytics is a very under appreciated survey panel for a couple reasons. One, their website looks like it was created 10 years ago and has not been touched. Secondly, they don't send out that many surveys.

However, the reason they made this list is that they pay very well. For example, surveys pay $1-4 each, and there are other activities, such as bulletin boards that will pay $25 for a couple days of participation.

Another plus is that their customer support is good, something that is rare in survey taking websites. You can request your payout at any point, and it only takes about a week to be received.

18. Vindale Research

vindaleVindale Research offers a variety of ways to make money. There are standard surveys, evaluations of products or services, watching videos, and receiving and evaluating advertisements in the mail.

Also, you get a $5 bonus for sending in a photo of you and your payment, along with being able to win their $15 weekly prize drawing.

Overall, it is a solid company to use for some cash.

19. Engage in Depth

Engage_LogoEngage in Depth is a standard online survey panel. Nothing fancy, but they do payout pretty high. There are not a lot of surveys available, but it is worth it to sign up and take everyone that comes to you. If you don't, you're passing up an easy way to make some cash.

20. Consumer Village

consumer-village LogoConsumer Village is a market research site that pays out normally for survey sites. It is an exclusive survey taking company, but fortunately for you, I have a link that will allow you to join. They pay via Paypal, which is always good to have.

  1. Hey Chris,
You list Consumer Village as paying cash thru Paypal. My
understanding is that they pay only with Amazon Gift Cards?? You may wish to check this out—I may be mistaken? Thanks for your site and all the info!

    1. Hey Bill

Thanks for pointing that out. I’ll have to replace them with PrizeRebel. Another site who does PayPal that I like.

  3. I left one comment already but it isn’t showing up. When I went to this website, all I wanted to do was make a little extra money but every survey I try, I don’t qualify for and now I’m getting bombarded with tons of emails that I don’t want. What’s the problem? What do I do to just get surveys without a million emails?
