2. Freelance Writing
If you enjoying writing, then this could be a great way for you to get some extra income. If could even go beyond just extra money and become a full-time job, if that is what you would like.
I don't consider myself an expert or authority on freelance writing, so I did some research and found some great articles that could get you going in this direction if it seems appealing.

Data entry may not be the flashiest of jobs, but it does provide consistent work and doesn't require prior experience. These are very simple tasks that companies need done, and luckily, they don't involve going to an office.
They send you over the information and task, and you simply do it from home on your computer.

If you enjoy helping people, then you could be great for being a customer service or sales representative. This can require you to be on the phone, but this is still a way for you to make money from the comfort of your own home.

5. Sell on eBay, Amazon, or ETSy
eBay, Amazon, and ETSy are great sites for making some money online. There are multiple ways to go about using these sites to make money, and this blog post won't be able to cover them. But to get you started with some ideas, you can look for products that are being sold locally near you or in bulk somewhere online, then sell these individually on Amazon or eBay for profit.
An example of this is to look for video games being sold on eBay in groups. These video games will probably be worth more if they were all sold individually, so you could buy the grouped games, then simply resell them individually on eBay.
When it comes to ETSy, it is similar to Amazon and eBay except that you sell your arts and crafts. So if you love doing crafting projects, then this could be a great way to make money online with your hobby.
Here is a cool post on 10 tips for successfully selling on ETSy.

Hi Chris, are there any companies based in Canada that offer legit data entry jobs?
Hey Dorothy,
Here is a transcript job for people in Canada: http://www.accutranglobal.com/
But I would also recommend checking out https://www.odesk.com/ and https://www.elance.com/. These are websites that offer world wide opportunities to find freelance jobs, which include data-entry.
You’d just sign up, fill out your profile and then bid on jobs. It offers more opportunities beyond data-entry, but that is certainly one of them.
Hope this helps,
Chris

Is this legit stuff? I’ve been looking for jobs online and seems like they are all scams. I have a 7th month old daughter, day cares are too expensive and want to stay at home with her. My husband works but it’s not enough to keep up and want to help.
Yes. There are a lot of options for working form home e.g. even UpWork.com is a great source as well
